^ ^ ^ Yes, Doctor Green Thumb!

Good game! Addicting, but...

I only wish you had "lives" so you dont lose everything with one mistake! Great game otherwise!

Great

I love green fingers☝ I wish you could have lives though

Addicting!

Its such a simple game, but it seems its the simple games that are among the most difficult to out down. The only thing I wish would change, like everyone else said, was that you get lives. But otherwise honestly Ive had this game for over a year now and I still love it!

Green Fingers worth a green back

This is a nice new game by No Monkeys, the developers of Alphabetic (which I highly recommend, BTW). The goal of the game is to line up appropriately tagged flowerpots with the corresponding item falling from the sky, such as water, sun, and seeds. The player simply taps the first flowerpot, it highlights, and then when a second flowerpot is tapped, they swap positions. Each correct hit provides points, which can be increased by quick hits in succession into the same pot, tapping the falling item (speeding its descent), and by finishing multiple flowers simultaneously. The game is fairly polished; it has OpenFeint support, player statistics, a tutorial, and 15 achievements. The graphics are good; the background has a subtle animation, which adds a lot and is not obvious from the screenshots. The difficulty seems to scale up pretty well, as it can get pretty hectic with multiple, stacked drops coming at you and new pots/symbols being placed into the play field. My only complaint so far is that the game ends with just one mis-plant and it feels very abrupt. I would much prefer a scheme like Scoops, in which you get three chances, before the game ends. All in all, I like it. The theme is fresh, the gameplay is compelling, and the difficulty scales well. Ill have to put more time into it, to see if it has staying power, but Im looking forward to it. This one is worth the buck.

Easy to learn, hard to master

Darn, this is addictive...

Addicting and fun!

I found myself trying to beat my score over and over again. This game is very addicting. Quality is great. Not your average iPhone game that has lousy graphics that you only want to play once. Hopefully No Monkeys will continue to create fun games like this.

Windowsill Gardening for Fun and Points!

Your primary objective is to line up the pots so theyre ready for the appropriate falling item, mess this up only once and the game ends (if the pot now needs sun and you dump in another bag of dirt, you lose). Only if it were that simple! Once a pot has received its bag of dirt youll need to have it line up with one of the seed packets appearing at the bottom of the playfield. If you look at that seed packet not only will you see what the eventual flower will look like but what it will take to make it bloom (some just need a drop of water, others might need just some sun, while others might be some combination of sun, water, and or other elements). Fulfill these needs and a flower is born. The items falling from above will ALWAYS be needed by something below (at least as far as Ive seen) so you shouldnt have to worry too much about useless items being dropped on you. If you have the right pot all lined up for the item and want to speed things up a bit for bonus points, simply tap on the falling object to have it suddenly zip right down. Another way to big bonus points is working it so multiple flowers are blooming on screen at the same time. There is also something about a speed bonus if you manage to drop a few requested items into a pot very quickly but I have yet to pull this off. As the game progresses there are more items falling simultaneously, faster, and the flowers appear to have more complex needs to bloom. Good fun and VERY polished!

Great app

I really love this app. You are never done with this great app. It is very addictive

How Will Your Garden Grow?

At my rate, not very much as just 1 mistake and its all over . But my goodness is this a great game! There really is more than meets the eye when playing. Not only must you match the items falling from above, one must ensure growth by nurturing the seeds once planted, or youll end up completing a level without many blooms. Extremely polished, original gameplay, unlockable achievements, online leaderboards, pretty graphics = . Note to the Devs: please add a mode where one mistake doesnt end everything and its back to the beginning 

Fun game with NO room for error!

This is a fun -- and addicting -- game. It is pretty easy to "pick up and play" (except I keep wanting to drag the items that are dropping ala Tetris instead of flipping the pots around!) but I have a feeling there is some strategy involved that I havent figured out yet -- some of the scores on OpenFeint are ridiculously high already! And since you cant make even ONE mistake, its definitely a challenging game! Kudos to the devs; definitely worth 99¢. One thing Id like to see is a bit more in-depth explanation of scoring bonuses and such.

Fun n Simple, All I Ask For A Dollar

Pros: Good and clean artwork Lots of levels Great replay value Pick-up-and-play quality game Challenging Cons: Needs online leaderboards (I dont think it has any, dont quote me on this) Only 1 life is really a pain, maybe if you add 3 lives, and if a heart falls down into a pot and gives you an extra life. OVERALL: This game is a good game and it is fun. If you are looking for a pick-up-and-play game this is a game for you. Get it, its only a buck. 4.5/5 Stars If the cons I said are fixed it will get a perfect score.

Cute, simple and polished.

And the gameplay is actually fun for such a simple mechanic. My expectations were exceeded.

Limited, needs a few more options.

Fun little game but escalates to too hard too fast. Some of the bonuses you can earn are not clear - what is a time bonus? How do I know I got one? Also, when you die there is no way to start again at a higher level just to practice. Would be nice if you could earn extra lives in some way.

Easy to learn, hard to master but fun all the way! :)

While main puzzle games will allow you to direct the falling pieces to match the pre-existing structure, Green Fingers works the other way around. The falling pieces stay in there column while you have to switch the flower pots under them to match the needed ingredient with the one approching. This twist is very enjoyable. The early levels will present you some easy flowers demanding only sun or water but as you get further in the game, youll face combinations of 4 ingredients. With 5 pots containing 5 different seeds and the sun, water, bees racing down the screen, youll find yourself with a big challenge. The graphics are lovely. Warm colors fill the screen, the elements are easily recognizable and its overall cute. The game is filled with various achievements and has OpenFeint connectivity that allow comparision of scores and achievements with friends or with the whole world. It gives a good sense of competition. Some updates are in the works. Theyll bring in new game modes with new achievements and options. Theyll make this great game truely awesome and with such a low introductory price, itd be a shame to miss it!

Fun and creative game

This has great graphics and very fun game play and tests your hand eye coordination

fun

Great fun. Nice to play on the train or when waiting in line.

Worth it.

I passed by this game many times on the store. When I saw it on sale for free (thank you appsniper) I tried it. Id honestly say its worth the $1. It plays smoothly, the graphics fit the theme, and you can play in long runs ot short bursts. Its got the complete package of asthetics, simplicity, and strategy if you try to go for the 5-in-a-row combos.

Got it for free, but worth the $1

This game is really fun, there is nothin fancy about it. Just plain fun. I play this on the train all the time, u may think its easy the first level, but its gets tougher around the 5th level. Also the achievements make it cool too, u dont earn anything, but its a cool idea none the less.

Game for minutes and hours

The game can be pretty addictive and hard when trying to reach all achievments. This could be improved by adding a little bit time during combo completion to make it more funny.
